Cami Comfort Homes Warranty Process

Our Homeowner Care Representative will explain how your home works inside and out! During this time, we will also complete a deficiency list to ensure all minor touchups are completed before your possession date. This eliminates unnecessary visits to your home when you have moved in AND helps us address warranty issues before they arise.
A Homeowner Care Representative will contact you 3 months and 12 months post-possession to review maintenance, seasonal preparation, operational care, and will answer any questions you may have. You will then be directed to submit a service request on our website for any warranty issues that you have.
Use the following form to submit the location and details of issues you may have in your home. Our Homeowner Care Representative will contact you with an action plan for items that are covered under warranty.
Please review your Progressive Home Warranty package for 2, 5, and 10 year coverage. Following the one year warranty covered by Cami Comfort Homes, please submit your claims on the Progressive Home Warranty Website https://progwar.com/claims-process/
1 Year Materials & Labour Warranty
The first year of warranty covers against defects (items that do not conform to warranty standards) in workmanship and materials that appear after you move in to your new home.
2 Year Mechanical Systems Warranty
In the second year, the warranty extends to the crucial mechanical systems of the home. This coverage extends to any defect in materials and labour supplied for the gas, electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning delivery systems.
5 Year Building Envelope Warranty
For the first five years Progressive includes coverage for the many elements that provide protection to what is called the “building envelope”. We warrant against water penetration and a number of other hazards that threaten the comfort and beauty of your new home.
10 Year Structural Defect Warranty
The total policy limit is the lesser of the cost of the home excluding land or $265,000.
Living Expense Coverage
If your home is uninhabitable due to a structural defect that is covered by the warranty, Progressive Home Warranty will reimburse you for reasonable costs for hotel lodging, food, and storage (up to $6,000) while repairs are being made.
Additional Optional Coverage
Progressive Home Warranty also offers add-on protection plans (for example, deposit coverage or extended building-envelope coverage) that you can purchase for even greater peace of mind.
